Blondie was born on August 03, 2005 at a farm near 100 Mile House, BC. At birth, Blondie weighed in at 7 oz . She has three brothers. Blondie's Mom, is a Maltipoo (Maltese x Toy Poodle). She has a very sweet nature and in the past she has passed this nature on to her pups. She weighs in at 8 1/2 lbs and is 8 " tall. She is a great mother to her pups. Blondie's Dad, is a Silver Beige Toy Poodle. He weighs in at 4 1/2 lbs and is 6 1/2 " tall. He has a very sweet quiet temperament and treats the pups very gently.

Blondie is a real little
piggy and by four weeks of age she weighs 2 1/4 pounds.

Val and I will be traveling up to 100 Mile House on September 21st to pick up our precious little pup. As it is almost a nine hour drive and the fact that we cannot leave until late morning that day, I will not get to meet Blondie until the next morning. It's going to be a LONG night. Blondie's human Grandpa is a bit disappointed that he will not get to see Blondie for over a week as he will be in Estevan, Saskatchewan visiting family. I've promised to email him pictures. Mommy Avril, me, am busy getting everything ready for Blondie. Her bed, toys, blankets, etc are already for her arrival. This is almost as hard as waiting for a real baby!

UPDATE: September 08: Blondie and her brothers have now starting the weaning process and are now eating pureed puppy food the first phase in weaning. The owner started this regime yesterday and she reports that all the puppies are doing very well. She told me that the puppies did nurse from their Mom for the night and will nurse from her again tonight but after that she will see how it goes. Hopefully Blondie will wean
easily and not cause any problems for her and her husband nor for doggy
